This is a simplified and modernized version of Herend's famous Rothschild pattern.
The Rothschild decoration, which has existed since 1850, depicts a charming and harmonious scene with a pair of birds and a pearl necklace. It is named after a prominent banking family that was one of the company's most important clients. According to pattern legend, a young lady from the Viennese Rothschild family lost her pearl necklace. However, when the leaves fell from the tree in front of her window in autumn, they saw the necklace hanging on a tree branch in the garden, along with a magpie next to it.
The Garden of Imagination is based on the distinction between animate and inanimate elements and emphasizes the magical movements of the original Rothschild "bouquet". It synthesizes a new content to build a garden we can only dream of. Here, birds and trees are transformed into treasures as precious as gold. Grass grows both upwards and downwards from the clump, extending downwards from the branch. Silver-grey grass transforms into a fluffy yellow ball, magnificent purple leaves sprout from the dead tree branch, and small, reserved birds truly merge with nature in this dreamlike space.

Herend is not just a porcelain brand; it is an art passed down from generation to generation. While traditional methods are used in the production of porcelain, technology is used only for heating the kilns. The unique whiteness, transparency, and clarity of porcelain are achieved by a special blend of raw materials. Specially trained painters at Herend paint the figures in daylight. Only those who hold the title of "Chief Painter" are authorized to sign their works. Herend also offers the opportunity to replace any lost or broken piece you've purchased since production. Drawing inspiration from nature, Herend incorporates distinctive birds, meaningful flowers (such as lotus and peony), butterflies, and Chinese motifs into its decorations. Prices of Herend porcelain vary depending on the density and richness of the decorations.
