The APPONYI pattern offers a style that combines simplicity and elegance with richness. This simple Indian flower motif, designed for Count Apponyi at the beginning of the last century, is adorned with exotic Indian traces and is among Herend's most popular patterns. Apponyi pattern is available in 15 different colors, gold and platinum painting. By mixing your Aponyi patterned plate with simplified Aponyi patterned plates, you can create a special dinnerware set for yourself. The majority of Herend forms are produced with the Apponyi pattern.
Have the freedom to create your sets, either as a set or individually. By combining different patterns and decors, create a table that reflects your personal style.
Herend is not just a porcelain brand, it is an art passed down from generation to generation. While traditional methods are used in porcelain production, technology is only utilized for heating the kilns. Porcelain's unique whiteness, transparency, and clarity are achieved with a special blend of raw materials. Specially trained painters at Herend paint the figures in daylight. Only those who receive the title of "Chief Painter" are authorized to sign their works. Herend also offers the opportunity to re-order any lost or broken piece of any product you have purchased since production. Inspired by nature in its decorations, Herend uses special birds, meaningful flowers (such as lotus and peonies), butterflies, and Chinese patterns in its decorations. Prices of Herend porcelain vary according to the density and richness of the decoration.
